Welcome to our Education and Discipleship Ministries

Adults are a vital part of First Baptist Church.  They serve in all the many ministries of our church in many different ways.  Our Adults are a diverse group of all ages with various family makeup and backgrounds.  They are also diverse in their gifts that are manifested in many ways through the varied Adult Ministries of First Baptist.

Our primary focus for adults is our Sunday morning Bible study.  Through our Sunday School classes at 9:45 am each Sunday, and our Connections classes at 11:00 am each Sunday, there are Bible learning and life application opportunities for Adults of all ages and genders.  Sunday School/Connections offers opportunities to meet new friends and establish meaningful relationships. 

At other times during the week there are special studies about current relevant needs or ministry opportunities.

Women's Ministries

Under the umbrella of "Woman's Missionary Union," our church provides a number of service and personal growth opportunities for ladies.  Included in the Women's Ministries are monthly meetings of groups with particular concern for missionary endeavors and an annual Women's Conference in September.

Senior Adult Ministry

Today's Senior Adults have experiences more changes than any generation in history.  Fellowship and ministry opportunities are available for seniors through our Young at Heart Group.   Monthly gatherings offer chances to meet new friends and maintain lifelong friendships.
