D-Groups
One of our Student Ministry’s purpose statements is to “sending labors into a lost world.” To succeed in attaining this goal we must pay particular attention to the personal walk of each of our youth.
Hebrews 10:24-25 says:
And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – all the more as you see the Day approaching.
D-Groups are small groups that meet once a week. These groups consist of 3-6 students and one adult leader. During their time together the leader and the students discuss common struggles, hold each other accountable to their spiritual goals, and encourage one another in their daily walks with the Lord.
A Discipleship Group is not a Bible Study! Rather, it is an accountability group!
