Mobilizing God's People to Joyfully Serve Him
I Peter 4:10-11
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Activities and Outreach Ministry |

With the completion of our Christian Life Center, we are uniquely equipped to offer an outstanding Activities Ministry. Feel free to come in during any of our hours for a tour of the facilities. We hope to see you soon.

Children's Ministry |
|
Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." First Baptist strives to provide complete "training" for our preschoolers and children. This includes Bible teaching through Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School each summer, choirs to learn about music and praising God, and Mission Friends to learn about missionaries and their work. |

Community Ministry |
|
Housed in First Baptist's facilities is Community Ministries. Churches in the Mt. Washington area cooperate to provide for the needs of persons who need help when their financial situations have taken a bad turn. |

|
Education and Discipleship |
|
Adults are, of course, a vital part of First Baptist Church. They serve in all the many ministries of our church in many different ways. Our Adults are a diverse group of all ages with various family makeup and backgrounds. They are also diverse in their gifts that are manifested in many ways through the varied Education and Discipleship Ministries of First Baptist. |

Music Ministry |
|
Our Music Ministry provides a number of opportunities for just about everyone to use their talents to lead the church in worship.
The Worship Choir sings in almost every Sunday morning worship service. Our Worship Team, Manna, Heartsong, Rejoice, Ladies' Quartet, Men's Quartet and other ensembles sing regularly in our worship services and other events.
The Youth Choir and Preschool and Children's Choirs perform special music throughout the year.
First Baptist also has both Youth and Adult Handbell Choirs that rings on several occasions throughout the year.

Prayer Ministry |
|
Members of our Prayer Ministry go weekly to the Prayer Room to lift up to the Lord the needs of people. Often people attending our services fill out the section of the worship guide entitled "Prayer Requests" and those requests are prayed for by people who believe God indeed answers prayer. |

Radio Ministry |
|
We recently began operating a local FM radio station in our community. Tune in to 93.9FM and listen to WFBR - First Baptist Radio.

Our youth ministry exists:
