Welcome to our Children's Ministry

Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."  First Baptist strives to provide complete "training" for our preschoolers and children.  This includes Bible teaching through Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School each summer, choirs to learn about music and praising God, and Mission Friends to learn about missionaries and their work.

Mother's Day Out
During the school year our Mother's Day Out program ministers to children and their families.  Mondays through Thursdays find our children's building teeming with preschoolers and their teachers.

Children's Ministry
First Baptist Church also provides a complete program for Children.  Children learn about God, His Son, Jesus, and the Bible through Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School.  Children also enjoy singing and performing through the Children's Choir Ministry.  Through Girls in Action (GA's) and Royal Ambassadors (RA's) they learn about missionaries and mission work.   Older children have the opportunity to participate in Bible Drill each year.
