"Children are a heritage from the Lord..." Psalm 127:3

We love families at First Baptist Church, and we take a special delight in serving the precious children of Mount Washington. We want to provide a safe and fun environment for your kids to learn about the gospel. We have Bible studies and programs designed to create formative memories of God's church in your child's heart and impact them with the deep love of Jesus.

A typical Sunday morning for First Kids is built on a Bible lesson that teaches your child about the gospel. Depending on their age group, kids can participate in art, games, music, drama, and small group activities. They will worship God through singing, Scripture reading, and devotional times. On Wednesday evenings during the school year, we focus on choir and missions. In Choir, we teach your child what it means to worship God through music. In Missions, we focus on the importance of serving God by helping others and sharing Jesus. Throughout the year we learn about real life missionaries and also provide opportunities for your family to participate in mission projects

"Thank you so much for sharing your children with us. We want to continue to partner with you to give your child a strong biblical foundation on which to build their spiritual growth. If you do not have a church home, I invite you to come be a part of our church family. By partnering with you, the parents, we become co-teachers in shepherding your child's growth as a fully developing follower of Christ."
