PRIVATE MUSIC INSTRUCTION

Instruction is adapted to the student’s age and ability. All lessons are taught in the Music Suite, on the second floor, on the campus of First Baptist Church Mt. Washington. Lessons are offered for 30 minutes. A non-refundable registration fee of $12 must accompany the application/enrollment form. In the event that two members of the same family are taking lessons, only one enrollment fee will be required. Music/lesson books are not covered by tuition.

FEE STRUCTURE

Tuition is payable by semester.

Semester costs for voice and piano is $255 ($17 per lesson). Three flexible payment options are available: One payment of $255, two payments of $127.50, or four monthly payments of $63.75.

Families choosing the monthly plan must submit payment prior to the 10th of each month. Lessons will not be given until their initial payment is made. For monthly tuition, $25 late charges will be made for each past-due month. Lessons missed due to late payment will not be made up and full semester tuition will still be required. A $10 fee will be charged for returned checks. All tuition payments must be up to date before a student can enroll in subsequent semesters.

MAKE-UP LESSONS

Private music lessons are a commitment for both student and teacher. If the teacher misses a lesson, they will schedule a make-up lesson with their student. If a student must miss a lesson, instructors SHOULD BE NOTIFIED 24 hours in advance if at all possible. Under these circumstances teachers will make up one lesson per student each semester for the following reasons: 1) student illness, 2) extreme emergency, or 3) death in the family.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

Weather related closings: If Bullitt County Public Schools cancel or close early due to inclement weather, all PAC lessons will be cancelled. In the event of this occurrence, lessons will be made up.
